Brazed diamond cup wheels, small grinding wheels and cast iron grinding heads — single-layer brazed diamond that grinds dry without loading up.
Brazing fixes a single layer of diamond directly to the steel body, so there is no bond to wear away and nothing to glaze. The tool cuts at the same rate from the first pass to the last, which is why it is used for edge work and for dressing surfaces that sintered tooling cannot open. Overview
Why use brazed tooling instead of a sintered wheel?
Because brazing puts diamond on the surface instead of mixing it through a metal bond. There is no bond to glaze over, so the tool keeps cutting at the same rate and can be run dry.

The trade-off is life. A sintered wheel keeps exposing fresh diamond as the bond wears, so it lasts far longer on a flat surface. A brazed tool gives a constant cut rate and reaches places a sintered wheel cannot — that is what it is for, and it should be chosen for that, not for long life.

What is Hubei Qianzhao's manufacturing capability?
Qianzhao has been making diamond tools in Ezhou, Hubei for seven years. The plant produces 100,000 blades and 3 million diamond segments a year, and exports to 14 countries.
Brazed tooling is produced in-house. The braze quality decides whether the diamond stays on the body under load — it is the single variable that separates a tool that lasts from one that sheds diamond on the first pass.

FAQ
What should I confirm before ordering brazed tooling?
What is the difference between brazed and sintered?
Brazing fixes a single layer of diamond to the surface; sintering mixes diamond through a metal bond that wears away to expose it. Brazed cuts at a constant rate and can run dry; sintered lasts much longer on a flat surface.
Why is my cup wheel not cutting?
Brazed tooling does not glaze, so a tool that stops cutting has usually lost its diamond layer, or the arbor is wrong and the tool is running off-centre. Check the diamond edge first.
Can I use it wet?
Yes, and wet gives longer life and no dust. It is normally run dry on site because water is not always available — the tool is designed for that.
Which arbor do you supply?
M14 for European angle grinders, 22.23 mm for others, and other formats on request. State the machine model when you inquire.
What is the minimum order quantity?
10 pieces per type for stock specifications. Mixed types can be combined in one order.
