Concrete & asphalt series QZ / 350–800

Concrete Cutting Blade

Diamond blades from 350 to 800 mm for cured concrete, reinforced concrete and asphalt — high-frequency welded segments on a manganese steel core, with keyhole or straight water slots.

Concrete is abrasive and often reinforced, so the segment bond decides blade life more than the diamond size does. A bond that wears too slowly glazes over the diamond; one that wears too fast loses the segment before the diamond is used up. Hubei Qianzhao Diamond Tools Co., Ltd (Ezhou, Hubei) produces 100,000 blades and 3 million segments a year and exports to 14 countries.

02 Overview

Which concrete blade do I need?

The right blade depends on three things: what is in the concrete, how deep you cut, and whether you cut wet or dry. Tell us those three and we will match the bond and segment height.

What you are cutting What to ask for
Unreinforced slab, kerb, block Standard bond, shallow segment height — fast, cool cutting
Reinforced concrete with rebar Harder bond and higher diamond concentration so the segment survives the steel
Asphalt and road repair Softer, free-cutting bond — asphalt is far less abrasive than cured concrete
Deep cuts, large floor saws Thicker core and taller segment for stiffness at depth

Blades for concrete and asphalt are a different product from stone blades: the segment bond, the slot design and the core thickness are all set by abrasiveness and by the machine. Do not run a granite blade on concrete and expect the same life.

03 Technical specifications

What are the technical specs of the concrete blades?

Only what is fixed at series level is listed here. Segment size, core thickness and maximum rpm depend on the diameter and the machine — they are confirmed on your quotation.

What diameters are available, and what are they for?

All six diameters use a 50 mm bore and keyhole or straight water slots. The machine, not the blade, is what changes as the diameter goes up.

Diameter Inch Typical machine Typical job
350 mm14"Hand-held cut-off sawKerbs, small slabs, pipe, general repair
400 mm16"Hand-held cut-off sawDriveways, patios, thicker slabs
500 mm20"Walk-behind floor sawFloor slabs, road patches, expansion joints
600 mm24"Floor saw / bridge sawRoad cutting, deep slab work
700 mm28"Large floor sawHighway and runway cutting
800 mm32"Large floor sawDeep highway cuts, heavy civil work

Segment size, core thickness and maximum rpm are set per diameter and confirmed on the quotation. Never exceed the maximum rpm printed on the blade.

05 Applications

Which materials and machines can these blades cut?

Built for concrete and asphalt cutting on hand-held and walk-behind saws. Selection should account for the aggregate, the reinforcement, the depth of cut and the water supply.

A / 01

Cured and reinforced concrete

The primary application. Aggregate hardness and rebar content decide the bond; tell us both when you order.

A / 02

Asphalt and road repair

Asphalt cuts with a softer, free-cutting bond. Using a concrete bond here polishes the segments and slows the cut.

A / 03

Block, brick and kerb

Low-abrasion masonry cuts quickly. Reduce the feed rate on hollow block to avoid shock loading the segments.

06 Customization

Can the logo and packaging be customized?

Logo

Laser-marked or printed logo on the steel core, matching the artwork you supply.

Packaging

Skin packaging, colour boxes and neutral export cartons — including cartons with no branding for distributors.

Specification

Bore, segment height and bond can be set for a specific aggregate or machine, subject to a minimum order quantity per specification.

07 Manufacturing

What is Hubei Qianzhao's manufacturing capability?

Qianzhao has been making diamond tools in Ezhou, Hubei for seven years. The plant produces 100,000 blades and 3 million diamond segments a year, and exports to 14 countries.

Segments are welded in-house on high-frequency welding machines, which gives a deeper heat-affected zone than laser welding and holds the segment through shock loading — the failure mode that matters on reinforced concrete.

08 FAQ

What should I confirm before ordering a concrete blade?

Which concrete blade do I need for reinforced concrete?

Reinforced concrete needs a blade that can cut through steel without losing the segment. Choose a harder bond with a higher diamond concentration for rebar, keep the feed steady, and never force the blade — forcing overheats the segment and glazes it.

Should I cut concrete wet or dry?

Dry cutting is common on hand-held saws with dust extraction; wet cutting gives longer segment life and no silica dust. Confirm the method with the blade you order — the segment bond is matched to one or the other.

Why does my concrete blade stop cutting?

A blade that spins but no longer cuts is glazed: the metal bond has polished over the diamond. Cut a few passes in abrasive block or sandstone to re-open the bond, reduce the water flow if it is too high, and check that the blade suits the material.

What bore do the concrete blades come with?

50 mm bore as standard. 25.4 mm and 60 mm bores, and reducing rings, can be supplied to match your machine — state the arbor when you inquire.

What is the minimum order quantity?

10 pieces per size for stock specifications. Mixed sizes can be combined in one order.

09 Request a quote

How can I request a quote?

Share the order quantity, cutting machine, material and destination market so your inquiry can be reviewed clearly.
